Fred Dickey, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer
A licensed funeral director, Fred Dickey, Jr. has a long history in the community. His mortuary career began at Nieto Funeral Home while still in high school. After graduating from the Commonwealth College of Science, Fred worked for Cage-Mills Funeral Directors in Corpus Christi, Joe Jackson-Heights Funeral Chapel, and Jackson Funeral Homes.
Fred Dickey, Jr. realized his goal of becoming a funeral home owner in 1991 with the purchase of Nieto Funeral Home. In 2007, he acquired Buitron Funeral Home and renamed it Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services.
Sadie Dickey, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
After retiring from U.S. Government employ in 2008, Sadie joined Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services in Laredo.
Fred Dickey, III
A Laredo native, Fred is a second-generation licensed funeral director, graduating from the San Antonio College of Mortuary Science.
Raul Villegas, Jr., Funeral Director
Raul is a committed member of the Laredo community, born in Laredo and employed at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home for 26 years. He is a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and licensed funeral director.
Susan Kay Medina, Administrator
Susan grew up in Laredo where she now lives with her husband Esteban G. Medina, a captain with the Laredo Fire Department. She joined Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services after working as an assistant administrator with a local realty agency.
Maria Concepcion (Conchita) Hinojosa, Assistant Administrator
Maria is a lifelong resident of Laredo. Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services is fortunate to have Maria on staff and take advantage of her 30 years of mortuary and preneed life insurance experience.
