Today, owner Fred Dickey honors the work of Jose Nieto who established the Nieto Funeral Home in 1933 by providing affordable, dignified funeral services while honoring God and serving our community.
Fred Dickey, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer
A licensed funeral director, Fred Dickey, Jr. has a long history in the community. His mortuary career began at Nieto Funeral Home while still in high school. After graduating from the Commonwealth College of Science, Fred worked for Cage-Mills Funeral Directors in Corpus Christi, Joe Jackson-Heights Funeral Chapel, and Jackson Funeral Homes.
Fred Dickey, Jr. realized his goal of becoming a funeral home owner in 1991 with the purchase of Nieto Funeral Home. In 2007, he acquired Buitron Funeral Home and renamed it Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services. For more information, contact us.

A Laredo native, Fred is a second-generation licensed funeral director, graduating from the San Antonio College of Mortuary Science.

Raul is a committed member of the Laredo community, born in Laredo and employed at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home for 26 years. He is a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and licensed funeral director.
